Is weed legal at MIT?
Weed is legal in all of Massachusetts, but you aren’t able to smoke or otherwise use marijuana on the MIT campus. This means that you’ll need to have a plan of where you’ll store and use your purchases so that you’re able to keep them off of campus. If you live off campus, you’re good–but if you live in an on-campus dorm, you won’t be able to bring your purchases home with you.
It’s important to note that you’ll need to stay within the legal limits of Massachusetts weed laws when visiting The Heritage Club. You’re able to carry up to an ounce of flower or five grams of concentrate. If you’re thinking about taking weed back to your home state for holiday break, think again–carrying weed across state lines carries hefty fines, even if you purchased it legally.
